The Halfmann Lab at the Influenza Research Institute in University Research Park is seeking a self-motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to investigate host-pathogen interactions of influenza viruses and filoviruses. Responsibilities include identifying, characterizing and disrupting protein-protein interactions as determined by co-immunoprecipitation, complementation-based, or similar assays along with experience in areas of gene editing, fluorescent microscopy, and flow cytometry.
Candidates should have a strong background in molecular biology with extensive experience with techniques associated with molecular biology, cell culture, and/or molecular virology. Candidates must be eligible for and maintain Select Agent clearance.
