Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania

We are looking for a postdoc in the lab of Susan Weiss at the University of Pennsylvania to work on projects focused on pathogenesis of human and murine coronaviruses. These include: virus-host innate immune interactions and the role of temperature during infections of primary cultures derived from the upper and lower airway of humans; coronavirus and influenza innate immune antagonists; activation of PKR and RNase L pathways and shut down of protein synthesis during coronavirus infection.

The candidate should have virology experience, ideally with coronaviruses and/or BSL3 agents.
