The Raju Lab at UC San Diego seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to investigate how viruses engage the mammalian immune system. Our group studies host–pathogen interactions with a focus on viral immunity and pathogenesis using RNA viruses as model systems.
Projects integrate molecular virology, immunology, and structural biology to define viral determinants of host range, dissect B cell and antibody responses. Approaches include reverse genetics, reporter virus systems, high-dimensional flow cytometry, single-cell and repertoire sequencing, and cryo-EM collaborations.
