Post-doctoral fellow

We seek applicants with expertise in molecular virology and virus-host interactions. Experience with enveloped mammalian RNA viruses that are not arthropod-borne, mammalian cell culture, molecular cloning, virus propagation and infectivity assays, RT-qPCR, immunoblotting and innate immune signaling is highly desirable. Experience with viral entry mechanisms, receptor biology, viral pseudotype systems, protein biochemistry, microscopy, transcriptomics, or genetic perturbation approaches (CRISPR/RNAi) is an asset. Prior experience working in BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratories is preferred. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a strong publication record, and enthusiasm for mentoring students and contributing to collaborative research and grant writing.
